michelle gonzalez, b.a. | research assistant

Michelle earned her B.A. degree in Psychology and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from University of Connecticut in 2016. As an undergraduate, she worked in the Child Language Lab on projects focused on language acquisition in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADHD. After graduating, Michelle worked as Lab Manager in Dr. Jill de Villiers’ lab, assisting in developing a diagnostic screener for language assessment. She began full-time as a Research Assistant with the Gaab Lab in Fall 2017 and is involved mainly in data acquisition. Michelle plans to attend graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology and work with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
