RA Olivia Baldi is Off to Graduate School!

Congratulations to RA Olivia Baldi on being accepted into the Ph.D. program in School Psychology at UNC Chapel Hill!

We are so excited that after 2.5 years in the Gaab Lab, RA Olivia Baldi is heading off to start her Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill this Fall 2026! Under the supervision of Dr. Casey Calhoun in the School of Education, Olivia’s research will focus on how neural, physiological, and environmental factors interact and influence emotional and behavioral regulation in teens, with a particular focus on peer relationships and social media.

We could not be more proud of Olivia for all of the hard work and dedication it took to get to this point, and we have no doubt that she will excel in this next chapter of her academic career. While we will miss her greatly here in the Gaab Lab, we look forward to seeing where this next chapter of life takes her!

Congratulations Olivia, and Go Tar Heels!
